Diocesan Tuition Assistance (DTA) and the Angel Scholarship Fund are grants awarded by the Diocese of Cleveland to families demonstrating high levels of financial need.

Completed Letter of Recommendation by an adult. Must be a non-family member who can attest to your character and why they believe you should be chosen for the award.
Copy of 6th and 7th grade final report card and 8th grade first quarter progress report.
Scholarship applicants will be invited to an interview in December. If your daughter interviews for a Scholarship Application, she will not need to attend an Admission Interview in January 2027.
The Marian Scholarships recognize students who embody our school’s Mission to Learn, Lead, and Serve through their love of learning, their leadership and initiative, and/or their commitment to service.
The Marian Scholarships are $2,500 per year and renew automatically each year for students who maintain a 3.0 GPA and remain in good standing.
The Magnificat Endowed Scholarships recognize students for academic excellence, service to others, and leadership. These scholarships are funded through the generosity of Magnificat donors who want to make a Magnificat education accessible to outstanding students who qualify for financial assistance.
The Magnificat Named Endowed Scholarships range from $500 to $2,500 and renew automatically each year for students who maintain a 3.0 GPA and remain in good standing.
Applicants for all Magnificat Endowed Scholarships must also complete a FACTS financial aid application.
The Academic Scholarships recognize students who score 95 and above on the HSPT exam. Qualifying students will be invited to interview for an Academic Scholarship.
The Academic Scholarship awards range from $2,500 to $8,000 and will renew automatically each year for students who maintain a 3.0 GPA and remain in good standing.
Applicants for the Academic Scholarships must submit their HSPT scores from Magnificat or another school by November 15th.
The Alumnae “All Generations” Scholarships recognize four students each year who demonstrate academic excellence, service to others, and leadership and are proud to carry on the legacy of a Magnificat education from generation to generation as daughters and/or granddaughters of Magnificat alumnae. One additional student will be chosen for the Lourdes Academy Scholarship.
The Alumnae Scholarships are $2,500 per year and renew automatically each year for students who maintain a 3.0 GPA and remain in good standing.
Prospective students who are a daughter and/or granddaughter of a Magnificat alumna are encouraged to apply.
Magnificat High School is a school provider for the Cleveland Scholarship Program. All students who reside in Cleveland are eligible to apply. The Cleveland Scholarship is funded by the Ohio Department of Education, and scholarship recipients receive $8,408 per year in tuition assistance for the high school of their choice. Both new and renewal applications for the 2026-2027 school year may be submitted starting February 1, 2026. Click here for more information about the Cleveland Scholarship Program.
Magnificat High School is also a provider for the Traditional EdChoice Scholarship Program. The program provides students who attend designated, under-performing public schools in their resident district with the opportunity to attend participating private schools and $8,408 per year in tuition assistance.
EdChoice Expansion Scholarship Program NEW Eligibility for ALL Students
Students who are not eligible for the Traditional EdChoice Scholarship, Jon Peterson, or Cleveland Scholarship may still be considered for the EdChoice Expansion Scholarship. Scholarships start at $841 and increase up to $8,408 per year on a sliding scale based on household income. Click here for more information.
Magnificat High School provides learning intervention services through the Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship Program. Students who have an Individualized Education Program (IEP) from their district of residence are eligible to apply year-round. The amount of each scholarship is based on the disability identified on the student’s IEP as categorized by the Ohio Department of Education. Roughly 50% of the scholarship money is retained by Magnificat to cover the cost of Intervention Services provided to the student. 50% of the scholarship money covers the cost of Intervention Services provided by Magnificat.
